gent360 REMOTE is a complete solution for close range remote photography, ideally suited for systems where the camera is located on a mast or pole.

This is a basic system that can be used without a video downlink, or with either a wired or wireless video viewer which can be added to your system.

The transmitter is a small keyfob device which can easily be held in one hand, and the main functions can be activated with one button press.

The range is up to 100m, however we recommend this device for applications with a 20m (65ft) range since the range is reduced if you are also using a video transmitter system to relay framing information to the ground.

The receiver is approximately 3" by 1", 0.5oz (15grams), and can be powered from a 4.8V to 12V battery via the 3pin socket supplied. Outputs are provided:

• Camera TILT via a standard servo offering 90° range.

• Shutter release by connecting a standard servo which can be used as a "finger" on the shutter. Optionally a gentLED can be connected to this port for IR, wired, or CHDK shutter release.  

• There is a third servo output for optional panning of the rig, although on small systems this is normally achieved by rotating the support mast. This connects to the 360° modified servo and should be geared down by 4:1 or 5:1.

• Finally there is a 2 pin output for a regulated 5V (output is between 4.5 and 5.5V). This is designed to power a video transmitter if your system is relaying video to the ground / base station.

A complete pole aerial photography system can be very quickly constructed with this product and the pre-formed metalwork parts available from www.brooxes.com and www.kapshop.com.
