gentLED-videoREC, gentLED-videoZOOM & gentLED-PHOTO allow 99% of consumer and prosumer Camcorders to be controlled
from a RC system via up to 3 channels.
gentLED-videoREC and gentLED-PHOTO can also be triggered from an electrical signal.
If the Camcorder came with an (or has an accessory) IR Commander Remote Control
then the camera will work with gentLED.
gentLED-videoREC controls the video start/stop from a standard Radio Control
(RC) system, or by any switch contact via the "blue wire". Comes with
a 25cm (10") 3-pin standard servo lead & weighs 4grams.
Features include:
false trigger prevention: The RC signal needs to be sent for 0.75seconds
(hold the "joy-stick" in position) to prevent any system noise
causing false triggering of video.
switch operation: This is an extra blue wire to the device which if
shorted to black triggers the device . This allows triggering with either a RC
channel, and/or any device that can short two wires together.
gentLED-videoZOOM allows control of the zoom via another channel on the servo
controller. This channel is center biased (like a standard RC control stick) and
pushing the stick in either direction will zoom in and out. Comes with a 25cm
(10") 3-pin standard servo lead, & weighs 4grams.
gentLED-PHOTO controls the photo control on the Camcorder allowing stills to
be captured whilst recording video. It can be triggered directly from a standard
Radio Control (RC) system, or by any switch contact via the "blue
wire". Comes with a 25cm (10") 3-pin standard servo lead, & weighs 4grams.
Features are:
continuous operation: This allows multiple pictures to be taken if the RC
servo control is held down. This is useful if you want the camera to keep taking
pictures approximately every 5 seconds.
switch operation: This is an extra blue wire to the device which if
shorted to black triggers the device . This allows triggering with either a RC
channel, and/or any device that can short two wires.

All consumer and prosumer camcorders are compatible with our products if they
have a IR Commander (remote control) as an accessory - most do.
To use all features you will need to purchase multiple devices
and have one free RC channel for each device purchased.
gentLED-DUO allows you to join together 2 gentLEDs in one unit for ease of
mounting, as shown in the top unit in the picture.
Order one gentLED-DUO in addition to 2 gentLEDs.
