gentWIRE is a range of devices for triggering the shutter of cameras and shutter / zoom of camcorders with suitable wired interfaces.

Manufacturers provide remotes for operators to press, we provide devices to trigger the camera via a RC system (commonly used for model aircraft), suitable for remote control and creative photography. These products allow a lightweight and simple interface between your remote control and the camera.

These products are designed to be used with a RC system but gentWIRE-USB for Ricoh and Nikon can also also be triggered from an electrical signal:

• gentWIRE-FOCUS allows control of a camera via a dedicated control socket,
• gentWIRE-USB & gentWIRE-USB2 allows control of some Canon, Nikon, and Ricoh cameras via the USB socket, 
• gentWIRE-HERO allows control of GoPro cameras (video and stills) via the heroBUS connector, 
• gentWIRE-LANC allows control of REC, zoom, and PHOTO for LANC compatible camcorders.
